I have found a tree in my yard that looks like it has baby Chestnuts on it, but it is not a chestnut tree. What is it?

Reply:Could be an oak tree, and those baby chestnuts could be acorns. Most likely there is a similar tree in your yard or neighbor's yard. Trees just don't pop up and grow out of nowhere. A seed from another nearby tree was able to adapt to the environment in your yard.
