Hair COLOR HELP???!!?

can anyone who knows about hair coloring help me, i recently colored my hair a chocolate brown color, and it was really dark brown, so i did not like it on me, then i changed it to a dark mahagony brown but i hardly at all see any red in it even in the sun there are a little bit of reddish tones, but alot of dark into my hair, i just bought schwarzkopf Palette intesive caring color 5-68 Middle chestnut, and i wanted to know can i color it this color, will anything happen to my hair color if i do?, or will it work fine, do i have to remove the old color first or can i just put this hair color over it, please help me, im dying for this medium chestnut color so can i use it? thanks for your help

If I were you I would go to a salon and get it fixed. Once they fix it then you can just keep coloring it at home on your own. Since you have the dark foundation adn then added the red, I don't think it will lighten the color to your desired shade. Really dark shades are hard to get out. You could really end up burning your hair and drying it out if you just keep applying hair color to it. So, my advise is to go to a salon and have them fix it. Looking good is worth the investment. Reply:If you dont want to go to the salon and have it done, do a test strip. Cut off a piece of your hair in the back where you wont notice it and dye that piece. you will see your result, if you like it do the rest of your hair.

Reply:If you keep putting color over color...It will just get darker and darker.....You can buy color removers at like Sally's beauty supply..........But be warned.....Its not a perfect science and your hair will come out orange.... and it is damaging......We stylists don't even like to remove color......Why not give it a rest for a couple of weeks ....go to a salon and get some advise......better yet let a stylist fix it!!!!
