How many of you eat Water Chestnuts?

The web has not been kind to my waistline! But I love water chestnuts! Crunchy, crunchy, crunchy.

How many of you eat Water Chestnuts?
Only when it's in my Chinese food.

Reply:I once had them in this clear sweet soup with white fungus, and ginko nuts (is that right? Ginko nuts?). It was really good.
