How come chestnuts keep spiders away?
hi i always thought it was cloves? your supposed to put clove oil around windows and doors to stop them getting in. dont know how it works though it stops toothache too!!!!!!!

Reply:Hello, Conkers or horse chestnuts deter spiders because when they try to climb up them the conker rolls over and breaks their legs also many times get squashed. The conker secretes an oily substance that gets on their feet which makes them slide off their webs.(one of these answers are true can you decide?)
Reply:cut a pomegrante in half and put in the corner of your room. as it rots it doesnt emit any odor but does release a toxin spiders dont like. it really works!!!!!
