Hi everyone I have fairskin, with dark brown hair, with brown eyes and I am going to dye my hair a chestnut?

brown(light brown)Clairol #46s, then I am going to use a, l'image clairol #852 Light ash brown to hightlight my hair with, do you think this would look nice, will it work?? My hair is long, please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

Reply:Sounds good but no one can really tell through internet descriptions. Just remember to never dye your hair more than 3 shades lighter than your natural color.



The important thing is your satisfaction.

Reply:I have seen this so many times I lost count years ago! The first big warning flag that went off in my head when I read your question was you have dark brown hair and you want to highlight. I will warn u right now that you are going to pull a lot of brassy gold/orange tones. My honest advice is let a professional stylist do your color! Ps,,,maybe it will be YOU on the phone tomorrow in my salon asking me to fix your hair! lol GOOD LUCK!
