Bacon Wrapped water chestnuts?

How do you make bacon wrapped water chestnuts? Is there a special way to make them taste really good??

This will be a big hit with any guest! You should really consider doubling or tripling the recipe and prep them the night before. They are a bit tideious to get together. Also you will probably have to cook them longer than the recipe says. I cooked them accordingly and then broiled them a few minutes to make sure the bacon was cooked all the way and crispy.
Reply:half cook the bacon (it's always too gummy for me) and then bake in bbq sauce with way too much brown sugar.
Reply:The ones I've always had are called Rumaki. Bacon, water chestnut, %26amp; chicken liver. Fry in pan as you would just bacon. Very delish.
