Are short black uggs in style?

I was able to get a pair of ultimate shorts for %26lt;$70 (last pair at online store with a B%26amp;M in NYC). It was supposed to be Chestnut but I got them today and they are black and I did really want the Chestnut :( I have a pair of Solvangs (black with pink stiching) from years ago that I can't wear over jeans and these I can. However, I only really ever see people with chestnut or chocolate. Just wondering if black (over jeans) is in style. Thanks for the help.

P.S. If you just want to comment you don't like uggs or how they are made, please don't - I'm looking for serious answers here.

of course my friend has black ankle uggs and they look chic, with like for example dark jeans and a slim black top. a lot of people may wear chestnut or brown but dont worry black is really cute too, and besides ur stuck with them so why not make the best of it? black boots are always in and matches with pretty much everything! goodluck :)

Reply:I guess black is kinda cute, but I love the chestnut soooooo much better, I even have some that color :-)..... Id exchange them for the ones that you orded their cuter (at least I think) plus they go with a ton more things..... however the black color isn't that bad. Good luck and hope I helped.....
