After you roast chestnuts on a open fire whats next?

After they crack in the fire, let them cool abit and then roll them in a towel to shed off the outer layer. Then eat!

Eat them - they're pretty good :-)
Reply:you put the nuts in your mouth
Reply:Jack Frost comes and nibbles at your nose.
Reply:Gosh, and here I thought that it was chipmunks roasting on an open fire.
Reply:You can eat them (best with a little salt added) or, better still, snuggle up to b/f (in your case) or g/f (in my case) and have him/her feed them to you. Chopped-up chestnuts are also good for turkey stuffing (mixed with bread cubes and spices).

Then you poke your head out the door, Jack Frost nips at your nose, you jump back inside and complain about being cold. If your b/f doesn't know what to do next, get a new one.
Reply:Eat them?!?!
Reply:generally jack frost whacks off your nose...
