I don't want to peroxide my hair because I don't know what it may do to my hair you see? My hair is meduim brown with red hi-lights...
So, last night I dyed my hair Chestnut Honey Blonde and there was really no difference in my hair at all?
go get it done professionly
Reply:Get it professionally done
OR
Try black?
Reply:did you use shaders and toners or anything like that?
if so you will not see much difference.
but if you dyed your hair properly it has different effects(read the back of the box) if you have dark brown hair then it will not turn out like the packet, it will turn out maybe a lighter shade of what you already have! but if you have dark blonde hair your more likely to get the results seen on the front of the packet! Get it done professionally. that's my advice.
please answer mine? =] :

Reply:Well I would suggest going to a hair dresser, but if you're like me and hate paying their prices try buying a Bleach Blonde at the store, and test stranding it on your hair.
Going from a medium brown to blonde is a big step... so this is something I might leave up to the professionals so you don't ruin your hair :(
Reply:Black hair or brown with pink or purple hi-lights.
Or get bangs
Reply:I think the best thing to do is get it done professionally. Usually when you lighten hair, especially to any blonde colour it needs to be done in two stages, so after lightening it once, it would need to be done again to achieve the desired shade. I wouldn't recommended this being done at home though, as in a salon they have more experience in caring for the hair while it is being coloured and preventing damage. If not you can always pop in and ask them for a bit of free advice on best home products to use for your hair type.
Reply:Your hair is probably too dark to go lighter. But you can try with like a lighter brown. And just every few weeks or months just keep going a shade lighter. Or even get blonde highlights and that will look cute.
Reply:2 friends of mine dyed their very dark brown hair to blonde and guess what, their hair turned RED. You need to strip the color u have now to get the exact color in that box.
Get highlights instead of coloring your whole hair. Bleach strands of hair to almost white then color in the honey blonde. Sort of like using a brand new canvas to paint on. But pls, have a prof do this for u.
Reply:look at the box that was supposed to die your hair and see when the date was it might be old and dont work anymore..
