Where can I buy chestnuts at? I cant find them in a supermarket?

I was also wondering how one would cook them besides roasting on an open fire?

try a different super market, slow roast in oven at 200-300 temp. but first make a small cut in the shell so they do not explode in oven. cooking time about 10-15 minutes you can smell them they are done. enjoy:)
Reply:farmer's markets sell the/street merchants. you are sure to find them there. you can get raw or roasted chestnuts.
