Matching with mustard/chestnut shoes?

Just bought a pair of these shoes and am trying to piece some outfits together. The gold is a little darker than in the picture, and I like the way khakis and jeans go with them, but I'm having trouble landing on a shirt. White? Yellow? Blue? What colors would work best on top?

Actually I would go with a Brown colored shirt, the same color as the brown in the shoe.
