This probably won't be the Best answer, but I'll just give you some advice:

Personally, I wouldn't use this product (and I have really wavy-curly hair - think Catherine Zeta-Jones, Michelle Pfeiffer, semi-Julia Roberts). If you can help it, avoid using at-home products - lots of chemicals. Unless you buy your own salon-quality products. Sometimes the store-bought ones don't work well with curly hair.

If you go to the salon, they can give you a natural Enzyme treatment and glaze to give you lasting shine (at least until your next visit). I normally get my hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer if I don't have time.

I just think a stylist can apply the glaze better than you could yourself. However, if you have your own beauty license, are really good with hair, then you can try it once.

Aveda salons also have these Enzyme %26amp; glaze treatments. I'm pretty sure Aveda isn't as expensive as other salons. I moved to Los Angeles from Dallas, and have managed to find a nice salon where I live in Studio City that is mid-range (not as expensive as Beverly Hills, etc., but not Fantastic Sams).

I've only had the glaze applied by my stylist a couple of times. Other times, I just give myself an Olive oil treatment for shine. And vinegar is good as well. You can look up beauty recipes online. Rinsing hair with vinegar removes buildup. Sometimes, I also exfoliate with organic brown sugar and organic conditioner once a week. Stops flaky residue from products.

Hope these tips help.
